Privacy Policy
This policy explains what stallionmarkets.online collects when you visit it, why, and what you can do about it. It is deliberately specific — every item below reflects what the site actually records, not a generic template.
1. Who this covers
Stallion Markets is a paid-media practice serving clients across the United States. This policy applies only to this website, stallionmarkets.online.
It does not cover the analytics we operate on our clients' own websites. On those sites the client is the party responsible for visitor data and publishes their own privacy policy; we process that data on their instructions and under their agreement with us.
2. What this site collects
We run our own first-party analytics rather than a third-party product like Google Analytics. When you load a page, the site records a single event containing:
- Two random identifiers — a visitor ID and a session ID. Both are randomly generated values. They are not derived from your name, email, device fingerprint, or any account, and they cannot be linked to you by us or anyone else.
- The page URL and the referring URL, plus the type of event (for example, a page view).
- Campaign parameters present in the URL you arrived on — for example
utm_source,utm_campaign, and advertising click identifiers such asgclid, msclkid, orfbclid. These are how we tell which ad or link brought you here. - Your browser's user-agent string, and the device type, browser, operating system, and language derived from it.
- An approximate location — country and region (for example "United States, California"). Nothing more precise. No city, no coordinates, no street-level data.
- The time the event occurred.
We do not store your IP address. Your IP is used once, in memory, to look up the country and region above, and is then discarded. It is never written to our database.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or payment details through this site, because the site has no forms, accounts, or logins. The only way to contact us here is the email link, and that opens your own mail client — we receive whatever you choose to write us, and nothing else.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
3. Cookies and local storage
These are set by this site itself, on this domain. They are not advertising cookies, they are not shared with ad networks, and they are not used to build a profile of you across other companies' websites.
| Name | Type | Lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| _smk_cid | Cookie | 400 days | The random visitor ID, so repeat visits are recognised as the same browser rather than counted as new people each time. |
| _smk_ft | Cookie | 400 days | "First touch" — the campaign details of your very first visit. Set once and never overwritten. |
| _smk_lt | Cookie | 400 days | "Last touch" — the campaign details of your most recent visit that carried any. Only written when you arrive with campaign parameters in the URL. |
| _smk_sid | Session storage | Until the tab closes | The session ID, used to group the pages you view in one sitting. Not a cookie; erased automatically when you close the tab. |
400 days is the maximum lifetime browsers permit for a cookie of this kind; they may expire sooner depending on your browser's own policies.
4. Why we collect it
One reason: to understand which marketing actually works. Knowing that a visit came from a particular ad, and that the visit led to an enquiry, is how we judge whether our own advertising spend is worth continuing. It is the same discipline we apply for clients.
We do not sell this data. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not use it for cross-site advertising or retargeting.
5. Who else processes it
A small number of service providers necessarily handle data on our behalf:
- Vercel — hosts this website and the analytics endpoint.
- Neon — provides the database where the event records are stored.
- ipapi.co — receives your IP address once, to return the country and region. We do not store the IP; their handling of it is governed by their own policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces this page uses. Loading a font from Google means your browser contacts Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. This happens on most of the web and is not something we control beyond choosing to use the service.
6. How long we keep it
Event records are retained while we operate the site, and are summarised into daily aggregate counts. Aggregates contain no identifiers and cannot be traced back to an individual browser. You can ask us to delete the records associated with your visitor ID at any time — see below.
7. Your choices
Block it outright
Any content blocker or privacy extension can block the analytics script. The site works normally without it — nothing on this page depends on the script loading.
Clear the cookies
Clearing cookies for this site removes the identifiers listed above. Your next visit starts fresh as a new, unrecognised browser.
Ask us directly
Email contact@stallionmarkets.online and we
will tell you what is held against a given visitor ID, or delete it. Because we hold no name or
email address alongside it, you will need to send us the _smk_cid value from your
browser's cookie settings for us to find the right records.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to object to its processing. Write to the address above and we will honour any request the law entitles you to.
8. Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the "last updated" date at the top moves. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
